Theo Bleckmann – The United States of Being

»The United States of Being«

Bleckmann’s visual artwork is a direct extension of his music: playful and eclectic collages that re-imagine portraiture, incorporting humor, irritation and wit through simple and direct means. Combining the fewest possible elements, Bleckmann uses fashion- and sports imagery that relies heavily on emotional posing and extreme human achievements to re-work its pastiche of appearances into snapshots of human expression and emotion.
